Today, Americans often accept vitamins, herbs and other sup-plements—and they're unremarkably aware of many more than that they may not actu-marry exist taking. So it's no surprise that our patients sometimes ask our opin-ion on the value of these supplements, in detail how they may or may not impact glaucoma. Furthermore, with marijuana becoming legal in more and more than states, questions nearly its reputed ability to lower intraocular pressure level are likely to come too.

The Value of Vitamins

Other supplements have produced interesting results in animals and in in vitro studies. Vitamin B3 (nicotina-mide), for example, may be neuro-protective.
